Transgender grad students in STEM

Thank you so much for your time and thoughtfulness to contribute to this project. The aim of this section is to build a collection of stories that have shaped our journeys that can begin to help faculty and advisors who mentor us understand the diversity of our experiences and become better mentors to future students. However, this section of the project is also for us, and for future students who may be looking for us.

Please consider the broad topics below, and share your stories to one or a few of them. Below the topics are a few questions to get you thinking, but feel free to take them in any direction.

* All stories will be anonymous and grouped by theme. Please take care to not include any identifiers that may out a particular person or institution directly.

Upcoming video/audio

The first release of this project is focused on written story, however in the future we will be branching out into audio and video. Future sections could possibly include recorded stories, interviews (trans students interviewing faculty for example), airport/travel tips, and a section dedicated to the research and work of trans graduate students.
